This Tour covers gives our Guests the opportunity to explore the Greater Cape Town Region and to head up the scenic Garden Route up as far as Port Elizabeth. Although this Tour covers quite an extensive distance by road, the route we travel offers ample opportunity to enjoy the various Attraction and Destinations along the way. The nature of the Tour entails some exploring, and we may deviate from the Itinerary, from time to time, to fit in with our Guests particular interests.
DAY 1
We start this Tour by introduce you to the heart of Cape Town, also known as “The Mother City”, allowing us to orientate you as to the layout of the City Centre and surrounding areas. This includes Table Mountain, Signal Hill, Table Bay, District 6, the Malay Quarter, the Atlantic Sea-Board, Blouberg Beach and a host of other attractions that make Cape Town one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
We will take you on an historical journey through the joys and sorrows that have shaped the formation of this cosmopolitan city into what it is today. From the Castle of Good Hope and Grand Parade, the Slave Lodge, the Company Gardens and Houses of Parliament through to the present day Townships, they all tell their story regarding the development of this city known as the “Gateway to Africa”. We will present Cape Town in all its diversity and are sure that you will find the experience both exciting and uplifting.
The Itinerary remains totally flexible to accommodate individual interests, be it our Cultural history, Flora & Fauna, the scenic beauty of our City or a combination of all these highlights.

DAY 2
After checking out our hotel we follow a route that takes us along the N2 motorway to the little coastal village of Gordons Bay. From here we travel all along the Coastline, following the visually stunning Clarens Drive where the mountains and the sea clash dramatically forming wondrous rock formations festooned with continuous feathers of spray and, of course, keep our eyes peeled for Whales! From here we head inland via Swellendam, travelling through an area known as the bread basket of South Africa until we reach the lovely seaside village of Mossel Bay where we overnight.

DAY 3
Following breakfast and taking some time to explore the Point, we set of further eastwards and make our way through the very scenic Garden Route which takes us past pristine Fynbos, indigenous forests and our own Lake District to Plettenberg Bay where we overnight at the Buffalo Hills Game Reserve. Here we will embark on an evening game drive returning for a traditional dinner served in the Boma after which you are at leisure to relax in the Lodge, overlooking the Reserve.

DAY 4
After an early breakfast and optional guided walking safari, we commence our journey, via the N2 past Port Elizabeth and on to the Addo National Elephant Park, arriving at the Addo Park or our Guest Lodge in the mid afternoon. We will stop off en-route for an optional snack lunch. We do an game drive through the Park during which we may spot a number animals, such as Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard and a variety of Antelope and check into our accommodation in the late afternoon.

DAY 5
Following an early start to the day, we head into the “main” Addo Camp for a Sunrise Game Drive, returning to the Rest Camp for a Picnic Breakfast. The balance of the day is spent around the Pool or doing Game Drives and visiting various Waterholes, searching for animals before we return to our accommodation in the evening to enjoy Dinner served at the Lodge.

DAY 6
After a leisurely breakfast we set of on a day of exploration and game viewing, stopping for lunch at the Park Restaurant. This is followed by an early dinner in the evening before setting off on a Night Game Drive on an open Safari Vehicle. This allows us a really close experience of many of the Animals in the Park, keeping in mind that the African Bush comes alive after dark, especially since most predators hunt at night.

DAY 7
Following a very early Wake-Up, we head on a morning Game Drive, returning to the Lodge at about 11H00, in time to enjoy morning Brunch. We check out from our Lodge and transfer you to Port Elizabeth Airport for your return Flight to Cape Town.

Please note, the Itinerary may vary to accommodate your particular Interests, local weather conditions, road conditions or other factors beyond our control. The localities we will be visiting are well known for their varying weather conditions, going from very hot during the day to cool in the evenings, with possible rain. Don't forget a sunhat, comfortable walking shoes, your camera and binoculars. A Warm Windbreaker Jacket and Ear Warmer for the Open Game Drives are highly recommended.
