RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT

A 30% DEPOSIT of Quoted Rate is required, on CONFIRMATION of your Reservation.

BALANCE is payable before THIRTY DAYS (30 Days) prior to DATE OF DEPARTURE OF TOUR.

A contract between ECO-TOURS SA and the CLIENT will only be deemed to be concluded once a  DEPOSIT has been paid to secure your Reservation, and the CLIENT has received  a receipt with notification from ECO-TOURS SA.

Methods of Payment preferred:

DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT (Free of any costs or commissions, into our Bank Account)

(Foreign Exchange Rates are to be confirmed and finalised on Confirmation of Booking.)

We try to remain as flexible as possible, however, should you wish to make any Changes or Alterations to your Itinerary after a Rate has been quoted for and agreed upon, we Reserve the Right to adjust our Rates accordingly.

TOURS & ITINERARIES

Prices, Routes, Places of interest, Restaurants, Agents and other Service Providers are subject to change without prior notice.

All Itineraries, Accommodation and Transport remain flexible, due to changes in Local conditions and unpredictable circumstances beyond our control.

Tours and Routes could therefore be altered accordingly to comply with these circumstances.

We would however, where possible, endeavour to inform our Guests well in advance, should any such changes take place.

CANCELLATIONS

Must be in writing, via Postage, Fax or E-mail and acknowledged by our Office, by us in Writing, as well.

A CANCELLATION CHARGE of 50% of total fare will apply if cancelled within 30 DAYS of TOUR COMMENCING and 90% if cancelled within 14 DAYS of TOUR COMMENCING.

If you FAIL to JOIN a TOUR or JOIN it AFTER DEPARTURE or LEAVE the TOUR PRIOR to it's COMPLETION, for whatever reason, whatsoever, NO REIMBURSEMENT will be considered.

Should you CANCEL your Tour within SEVEN DAYS (7 Days) days or less, prior to Departure, you will FORFEIT your FULL PAYMENT plus additional Cancellation charges may be applicable.

LUGGAGE / BAGGAGE

All Luggage, packed in soft Bags or average size Suitcases is limited to about 20kgs maximum.

INSURANCE

Guests are advised to acquire their own TRAVEL, LUGGAGE & CANCELLATION INSURANCE when confirming a Reservation.

Personal Comprehensive Travel Insurance covering Curtailment, Medical Emergency Travel and Personal Accidents is also recommended and considered compulsory. Check with our Office or your Travel Agent.

Extreme or Adventure Tourism Activities are undertaken AT YOUR OWN RISK. Guests are strongly advised to check that their Travel Insurance covers these activities, as ECO-TOURS SA or their appointed AGENTS cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury, death or damage caused by any Activity, whatsoever.

LIABILITY

All Tours, Trails, Adventure Activities and Charters are undertaken subject to the Standard Terms and Conditions of ECO-TOURS SA. The owners, their employees and their agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from any liability in respect of any loss or death, damage, injury, accident, delays or inconvenience to any person or their luggage or other personal property whether the same shall occur and whether the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of ECO-TOURS SA, their employees or agents or other persons directly or indirectly in the employ of service of ECO-TOURS SA or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever.

CLAIMS

Any Claims arising shall be subject to South African Law and within the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Court of Law.

PASSPORTS & VISAS

Guests are to make their own arrangements in this regard.

TOUR TIMES

DEPARTURES and ARRIVAL TIMES are approximate.

EXCLUSIONS & INCLUSIONS

Any additional Entrance Fees or Activities not forming part of our agreed Tour Itineraries are excluded, unless otherwise notified. Guests are to settle these Costs directly with the Supplier.

All meals, drinks, refreshments and items of a personal nature are excluded unless otherwise notified.

All Entrance Fees are applicable to each particular Tour Itinerary. Any Exclusions are to Guests own Account unless otherwise arranged and agreed upon by BOTH PARTIES.
