

This tour is ideal for those of our Guests who want a unique Cheese & Wine tasting experience, away from the mainstream Tourist Routes. We visit at least three different premier Estates located in the foothills of the Cape Hottentot-Holland Mountains known as the Boland, (Uplands) doing wine and cheese tasting as well as a cellar tour to discover the marvels that occur between the vine and the wine.
We spend the day visiting a variety of smaller “Boutique” Wine Estates within the Vineyards of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, the historic Cradle of the South African Wine Industry
These boutique Wine Estates have a range of superb high quality but limited quantity wines on offer, with each Estate providing their own innovative and dedicated Wine-Making Skills. This assures even the most discerning palate an experience to savour and remember.
Depending on timing during the day, there is an opportunity to enjoy a browse through the Franschhoek and the Village of Oaks, Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa.
Many of these Estates have introduced Profit Share Incentives & Skills Transfer Programmes for their workers, resulting in exciting additional products to compliment their Wines, such as Cheese Making, Olives & Olive Oil, Herbs, and Arts and Crafts.
